This Scottish Burled Walnut Princess Wardrobe, circa 1920, hails from Camerons of Perth, made during a time when an entire closet was one piece of furniture. Constructed out of fabulous matched and quartered burled walnut veneers, the princess wardrobe has a centered top cupboard above six hand- dovetailed drawers, all with the original floral and leaf decorative cast brass handles. A door with the original key escutcheon, original floral and leaf decorative cast brass handles, and hinges, straddles each side of the center space. Their interior features pinstripe mahogany with the original pullout bar and tie rack on one side and the original hanging bar and mirror on the other side. Gracious Queen Anne style cabriole legs support the wardrobe with much elegance, adding just the right finishing touch to this classic design. The Camerons of Perth Scottish Burled Walnut Princess Wardrobe measures, 70.00 inches H X 73.00 inches W X 22.25 inches D, has the original Camerons of Perth label, and is in the restored original finish. An added bonus is that it disassembles into four pieces for easy transport.
