The Path Home Antique Original Pastel on Paper, circa 1900, captures a desolate scene in hues of brown, green, white and soft shades of yellow and blue. Together the colors create a bleakness complete with leafless, stark trees to the right of the path and brown plumper trees to the left. Between them rests a vintage faded gate that beckons one to the path home, that is interspersed with tinges of brown and green grass and yellow flowers. The Path Home Antique Original Pastel on Paper has the original glass, measures, 11.75 inches H X 13.50 inches W X 02.00 inches D, including the lovely incised antique solid walnut frame.
