| The Flight Into Egypt , by Morellio (1619 – 1690), was drawn by George Farington (1752 - 1788) and engraved by John Spilsbury (1730 – 1795) for the Houghton Gallery Series collection. English landscape painter, George Farington, was a student at the Royal Academy, studied with Benjamin West (1738 – 1820), and won many awards for his historical renderings. John Spilsbury was an English print seller and engraver in the dot style and became drawing-master at Harrow School around 1782. The Flight Into Egypt is noted as one of his gems. The Flight Into Egypt , was published by the eminent English publisher, John Boydell (1719 – 1804), March 2, 1778, in Cheapside London.
