Set of 4 Vintage French Street Vendor Prints

This lovely Set of (4) Four Vintage French Prints is a splendid example of French vendors selling their wares in days gone by. The prints are individually titled, "Paille, Paille” (Straw, Straw); “Sable Blanc, sable pur!” (Pure white sand); “Balias de bouleau” (Birch Brooms); and, “Tourbe, tourbe dure" (Dig peat, hard peat). The individual prints framed together form a composite of peddlers selling their wares. The illustrious characters showcase a gentleman carrying straw in a wheelbarrow, a gentleman shoveling pure white sand in a bucket to a buyer, a woman holding birch brooms in both arms and on her head, and a gentleman selling a pile of peat from his wagon. The prints have been professionally matted and framed as one, measuring, 18.75” H X 13.25” W X 00.75” D, including the frame.
