This is a fabulous Aztran Oak Shoe Fitting Stool by B. F. Goodrich. Stools like this were found in local shoe stores during a time when “self service” was not in existence. The stool is made from solid oak and has a removable cloth seat cushion that can be easily reupholstered. The incline has a rubber skid, made by B. F. Goodrich. The incline was used to place the potential customer’s foot comfortably in place while the salesperson sat on the stool and fitted variety of shoes.
