This gorgeous English Art Deco Fitted Gentleman's Burled Walnut Wardrobe/Armoire has the form and style so typical of the Art Deco period. The fusion of its rounded sides and straight-lined body combine flawlessly to create a sleek, bold modern design. The burled walnut pattern that appears on the wardrobe’s front is quite striking, adding yet another dimension to this classic piece. The doors have the original wooden handles and open to reveal a time in history when every piece of clothing space was labeled. The wardrobe’s interior fittings are constructed out of solid mahogany. The left hand side includes a shelf, pullout hanger, shoe rack, and a bar on the left hand door designated for ties. The right hand side has two lift-up retractable glass doors with the original knobs; one drawer labeled for shirts and one for collars. Below the collar space is a pullout handkerchief drawer and two shelves beneath; one designated for pyjamas and one for underwear. Underneath the shelves is a pullout sock drawer.
