| This Antique Rococo Revival Turtle Top Mahogany Center Table, circa 1875, is absolutely stunning. From top to bottom it imbues the 18th century Rococo style; with its continuous undulating apron, fluid carved floral and leaf design, S-shaped legs, curvaceous feet and supports that meet at a large detailed acorn center finial. The turtle-shaped top is constructed out of beautiful burled crotched mahogany grain and is supported by a solid mahogany base. And although originally intended as a center table for the grand entryway its size would be suitable as a petite dining room table. The Antique Rococo Revival Turtle Top Mahogany Center Table measures, 29.00 inches H X 53.00 inches W X 40.50 inches W, and is in the original finish with appropriate wear for its age. |
