| This is an English Antique Heal & Son Solid Mahogany Commode with a lift up lid and the original white British Anchor Chamber Pot, circa 1900. Constructed out of solid mahogany with hand-dovetailed construction, the commode has an incised decorative front and incised turned legs. The original British Anchor chamber pot is free of cracks or chips and has the original label. The Antique Heal & Son Solid Mahogany Commode measures, 18.50 inches H X 19.25 inches W X 16.75 inches D, has the original Heal & Son London label and is in the original finish, with appropriate wear for its age. Of course since modern conveniences has eliminated the need for a lift top commode, one can redefine its use as a plant stand. |
